Leadership & Governance

Establish decision-making structures and active sponsorship for transformation speed.

The Problem: Leadership Weakness

Sponsors acting as "Passive Approvers" rather than "Active Coalitions."

Transformation requires active, visible leadership—not just signatures on approval forms. When sponsors are absent or passive, projects drift, decisions stall, and teams lose confidence. Weak governance creates bottlenecks that kill momentum.

The Diagnostic: Ask Yourself

Evaluate your readiness across the 3 Dimensions:

📊 Strategic Dimension

"Are sponsors campaigning for the change, or just signing checks?"

Active sponsorship means visible advocacy. Sponsors must sell the vision, not just fund it.

⚙️ Technical Dimension

"Do you have a Decision Matrix (RACI) to prevent bottlenecks?"

Without clear decision rights, projects get stuck in endless approval loops. Define who decides what, and when.

👥 Human Dimension

"Do leaders incentivize the behaviors they preach?"

If KPIs and rewards don't align with transformation goals, people will default to old behaviors.

The Solution: The Steering Wheel

Governance isn't bureaucracy; it's speed control. Master the art of active sponsorship, stakeholder engineering, and crisis control.

What You'll Learn:

  • Distinguish Active vs. Passive Sponsorship
  • Map political landscapes and build coalitions
  • Design Decision Matrices (RACI) for speed
  • Apply the "Kill Switch" and escalation protocols
